Cute doll, but not as interactive as other models.,
If you’ve seen a Baby Alive doll with soft skin, blinking eyes and a moving mouth, be aware that this is NOT that doll. This Baby Alive doll is slightly bigger then models such as the Baby Alive learns to potty doll, but in many ways it is simply your basic talking baby doll. The eyes close when you lay it down and the doll talks when you press her bracelet or feed her, but she does not move and she doesn’t have the soft facial skin of some models.
She does have thicker, softer hair then some other Baby Alive dolls, but it’s still not particularly brushable. She also has the benefit of using less batteries then other BA dolls.
In conclusion, if you’re more interested in looks then features, this may be the BA doll for you. If not, consider one of the more expensive models.

|It’s a hit for the little girls my family,
Since my daughter is a bit young & I’m a bit neurotic, I’m stuck washing it out each time she feeds her food. Definitely do it over the sink & use plenty of water. Also, make sure the “food” has the right amount of water added – you don’t want to make it too thick which makes it a royal pain to clean out of the mouth.
I’ve discovered that Preemie size clothing fits reasonably well. More importantly, Preemie size diapers fit GREAT — they’re considerably cheaper AND they are higher in the front & back which is never a bad thing when you have a child putting a diaper on a doll (less margin for error).
That all said, my one gripe is that the hair is VERY touchy. Some food got in the hair (not good) so I carefully took a wet washcloth & wiped it off of the strands. The curl disappeared. So, a word of caution on the hair.
It’s a cute doll. Do I think it’s weird that the doll goes potty? Yes. Would I have purchased it for them on my own? No. But, they do really enjoy playing with them so it’s a winner for me.
