Have been wearing Bass oxfords for years, in a variety of styles. Was unfamiliar with this Pasadena, though, so I thought I’d try it. I normally wear a size 10, which is what I ordered, but the shoe seems about a half-size too big (too much room in the toe area). Otherwise, the shoe is stylish, sturdy, and comfortable. I’m going to keep this pair for special occasions so they stay clean and unblemished; but next time I’ll order a half-size smaller than usual.

I have been looking for the perfect of shoes to wear with chinos and jeans and I think I’ve found it. The Pasadena is well fitted and offers a design that is well balance between casual and elegance. And for about $60, you are really getting the biggest bang for your bucks.

These shoes look and feel great. I’ve worn them 5 days a week and walked a decent amount in them (from class to class mostly), and I occasionally will run for very short bursts. The suede portion of the shoe is doing great, and aside from a few strays fibers it’s solid. They’re very comfortable and have fairly good arch support (I normally wear custom inserts but not in these due to a lack of room vertically). The only problem I have with them is the outsole, it says it is non-marking but I’ve never had a shoe that marks this much, it’s ridiculous, and it’s worn incredibly fast as a result. It has even cracked open, getting my feet wet from the occasional puddle. Once again, the shoe is perfect except for unacceptable wear of the sole. If you want a shoe like this from Bass, I recommend you make sure the sole isn’t too soft or that it won’t mark.
