I looked at a variety of motor arbors before deciding on the Chicago Die Casting. I chose this product because it was cast rather than turned steel. It appears to be more substantial. The close fit on my motor shaft was perfect, no vibration. Good product!

My husband had been looking for a quality replacement 5/8″ motor arbor locally and wasn’t having much luck so we turned to Amazon. BEST THING EVER. We ordered this Chicago Die Casting motor arbor and were absolutely thrilled. The quality surpassed all others that we saw locally. Thanks for a great product.

This was the second arbor I ordered from Amazon, the first being sent back for refund. This one fit a little tighter on my Ryobe bench grinder, base model. When I attached my 8″ wool buffing pad to the arbor, it wobbled so badly that the noise and vibration exceeded what should be when used inside my condominium where I make leather goods. It was worse than an out of round tire or one that was badly in need of balancing. Due to the cost of sending back, I just kept the part and maybe someday I will find a use for this.
