microfiber side panels not supportive enough, March 21, 2010

I wore the Olga (regular) tapestry minimizer bra for many years with great success, but since it’s no longer available I’ve been trying the Olga Today model (and also the Christina – not sure if there’s any difference). My main objection is the side panels, which used to be the same (stiffer) tapestry material as the bra, but are now stretchy microfiber. also, the fastener panel in the back seems to be narrower than it was. This all makes the bra much less supportive to my back, and I’m going to have to abandon the bra. I’m sorry that I ordered any.

I have bought this style off and on over the years and liked it, but the tapestry fabric would tear and the straps would slide out of adjustment. With this new and improved styling Olga got it all right. The microfiber sides are supper comfortable and durable; the new straps stay right where you adjust them. I bought three more! This is my bra from here on out!

My only hope? They’ll make solids!, July 4, 2013

Love the fit and support of these. I HATE those new “molded” cups that VS and others now have. These are for naturally endowed ladies who don’t need extra bulk! They fit like a dream, they wear like iron (I’ve had the 36 DDs for about 4 years, and they are still holding up (so to speak). I have gained a little weight, so ordered this one in 38 DD. The straps are just a little wider (didn’t have to be, but I guess they want to be sure you are supported), but the overall fit is great. There is enough room in the hook area to expand by about 2-3″;, so these will go up and down with your weight, to a great extent.

My only request? Please start making solids, as the leaf pattern on the cups often show through (and compete with the prints) on some of my lighter-weight blouses!
