The One Hundred Strangers project is a learning group for people who want to improve the social and technical skills needed for taking portraits of strangers and telling their stories. The method is learning by doing.
Still on my photowalk round Reigate yesterday, I was heading towards the skate park to get some action shots when I saw Mia walking along with her little 2 year old, Thomas. I explained the project and she agreed. She also said that she didn’t think that she was good in front of a camera but I think she did great.
Having two youngsters myself, we were both keeping half an eye on young Thomas who toddled around unconcerned while this strange man shot pictures of his mommy. He gave me a lovely ‘goodbye’ when we were done. Lovely boy!
Thanks Mia for a great picture.
