I love the look of this flatware and even ordered glassware to go with it. The problem is that the bowl of each spoon is so deep & narrow that it is awkward to eat from. The bowl of the teaspoon is at least 3 times the depth of the spoons I wanted to replace & almost the size of a regular soup spoon. A child could not use these spoons easily. Other than that, the flatware is very nice and heavy.

I have had my flatware about a month and love it. The quality is fine and it looks like silver with a good heavy weight. I have had no problems with the smudges another customer had and everyone who sees it loves it especially the unusual aspect of it. I worried the bee would be juvenile but not so. I did a lot of research and found the 18/0 means no element to prevent tarnishing. 18/8 and 18/10 have that element. This is a top 18/10! Reed and Barton Warrants the flatware for100 years.
I even called a company about their18/10 flatware and they kindly sent me a sample of a ” second” and I was disappointed in how light weight and dull it was. It was also significantly higher in price than mine.
One important fact I found out the companies recommend Cascade dish washing detergent with no citrus or bleach mainly plain. I asked if the tabs were okay and she said yes as long as no citrus or bleach.

This everyday stainless is such a great compliment to my La Rochere “bee” glassware but I have one complaint. The silver is so shiny that you see every smudge or finger print. It’s annoying to have to wipe down every piece prior to entertaining. BUT, it is beautiful. My husband loves it because it’s very hefty for a man’s larger hand.
