    After years of trying to label plants in my garden,I have found 2 permanent methods: laser printing on the clear plastic address labels or using this paint pen on a non porous plastic garden stake (or cut up used plastic venetian blinds for the cheap ones among us). Get the black fine point, not the broad or extra fine. I have had no fading after years in the garden. Make certain the surface is dry when you write on it
